This time we will focus on the 'Control Steps' group in Biomek software and we will, among other things, go through the following:

• Variables and variable types
• Conditional statements (If statements)
• Loops
• Procedures

The purpose of the seminar is to introduce you to the functions mentioned above and to get you ready and confident in using them. Our Tips & Tricks seminars are held as hands-on training. You will therefore be presented with a series of exercises during the seminar, which you will try and solve in groups of two to three participants at one of our seven laptop computers where Biomek software has been installed.

We will start at 9:00 am with registration and coffee. The teaching will start at 9:30 am. We will provide sandwiches and drinks for lunch.
