The MiniFlex is a 6th generation benchtop X-ray diffraction (XRD) system designed for advanced powder diffraction analysis of polycrystalline materials. Despite its compact footprint, the instrument delivers high analytical performance suitable for demanding research applications as well as routine industrial quality control.
It is built around a precision goniometer platform and a high-stability X-ray source. The MiniFlex enables comprehensive structural characterization of crystalline materials and supports both qualitative phase identification and quantitative phase analysis, providing detailed insight into material composition and structural parameters.
The 6th generation MiniFlex is engineered for operational stability, safety, and ease of integration into laboratory workflows. The MiniFlex is compact, fully enclosed radiation-safe cabinet, Variable incident beam slit, Factory-aligned goniometer system, Quick installation and user onboarding, External computer operation, Intuitive measurement and analysis software. The design simplifies setup while ensuring consistent, reproducible performance from the first measurement.

Detector 
The system can be configured with advanced detector technologies optimized for speed, sensitivity, and low background noise. High-efficiency photon-counting detection allows rapid data acquisition while maintaining excellent peak resolution and signal-to-noise ratio.
Energy discrimination reduces background contributions from fluorescence, improving data quality when analyzing complex or high-absorption samples. This capability is especially beneficial when working with transition metals or multi-component systems. Together with optimized X-ray optics, the MiniFlex delivers high-quality diffraction patterns suitable for both routine phase identification and advanced quantitative modeling.
